At the recent MSSM Chess Championships in
Malacca, Kuala Lumpur emerged overall champions. They finished with 105
points, 3 points ahead of Selangor, who were second. Third position fell to
Penang with 74 points.

May 18 2008 will be remembered as a BIG day for Chess
and Chess enthusiasts in Negeri Sembilan as 88 players battled against Chess
Master Collin Madhavan. It was also a new Malaysian Chess
Record for
simultaneous games played. RB Land was the main sponsor for the Chess
Match while other sponsors include IJM
Berhad,
Karisma Tuition Centre, Quantum88 Corporation Sdn Bhd & Sri
