National junior player, Yeoh Li Tian, wins the Thaipusam Rapid Chess tournament. Li Tian who turns 11
this year, won ahead of strong competition from season players like The Stonemaster Fadli, Jax Tham
and Lim Zhuo Ren. This is Li Tian's first BIG win after returning from the 6 week training stint in China. The
tournament was organised by Jax Tham's Excel Chess Academy. The results are as follows:

This years Singapore Malaysia Match shall take place from 15th
February to 17th February 2010 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The playing venue is
the Standford Hotel, Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman, Kuala Lumpur. The selection of
the Malaysian players is being done by the Malaysian Chess Federation. The Programme

Seniors Chess Tournament 2009 |
Abdul Shukor
Mustafa wins the inaugural DATCC Seniors Chess Tournament that was held in May
2009. Shukor finished with 5½ points, half point ahead of second placed Lim
Kian Hwa and third placed KK Chan. The final results of the tournament are as
