Objektif
: 1. Untuk pemilihan pemain ke Asean Age Group di Vietnam(6-15 Jun
2009).
Pemain yang layak akan ditanggung sebanyak 80% perbelanjaan.
2. Pemilihan ke Asian School di Singapura. (Julai
2009)
3. Pemilihan ke National Close.
4. Membentuk skuad KL Juniors ke Malaysian Chess Festival. (Ogos 2009)

Format
: 6 or 7 Rounds
Rapid play (25 minits each). Must be here before 9.30 am.
Round 1 : 10 am
Entry fee:
RM 10 For under-9 ,11 & 13.
RM 15
For under-15 & under-20.
RM 25 for Non KL students.
Closing
date: 24rd of April2009 (Friday).
Maximum number of players per age
category will be 80 players.

MSSM
(Malaysian Schools Chess Championships) 16 to
20 March 2009 |
Selangor
have emerged as the 2009 MSSM Champions. After 7 rounds of play, Selangor emerged as the overall
Champions winning 4
Gold, 2 Silver and 2 Bronze medals . The Selangor team amassed a total of 112
points, 5 ahead of its closest rivals Kuala Lumpur. Kuala Lumpur on the other
hand did
very well in the medal tally winning 4 Gold, 4 Silver and 1 Bronze medal. Held
at the Goldcourse Hotel Resort
in Klang, the MSSM is the biggest annual Chess event in the country with almost 500 students
from all around country fighting for top honours in their respective age
categories. This year, Perak and Kelantan gave a account of themselves by emerging 4th and
6th respectively.
The MSSM committee and the organising hosts, MSS Selangor, did a good
job by ensuring that the event went on as smooth as possible.
